13th annual Bike Day gives more than 500 kids free bikes

MILWAUKE (CBS 58) -- The weather made it a perfect day to go on a bike ride. More than 500 kids got free bikes at Sixteenth Street Community Health Center's 13th annual Bike Day on Saturday, June 15.

Sixteenth Street used the event, held at Kosciuszko Park, to promote active lifestyles for families. Each family could be given up to two bikes, with free helmets and bike locks, too. The event also offered bike repairs, safety demonstrations, and even live music.
