BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) — Brookfield police are asking for the public's help identifying two women in connection with alleged retail thefts from an athletic apparel store.

According to the Brookfield Police Department, officers responded May 2 to a reported theft at Alo Yoga on Market Street.

Police said an unidentified woman allegedly concealed multiple items of merchandise valued at approximately $1,230.

Investigators said the same woman returned to the store Sept. 18 in a black Buick Envision Avenir with an illegible temporary registration tag displayed in the rear window.

Police said she was accompanied by a second unidentified woman, and the pair allegedly left the store with approximately $1,072 worth of merchandise without paying.

The first woman is described by police as being about 25 years old, approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall with a stocky build and mid-back-length black hair. She was reportedly wearing a black quarter-zip sweatshirt, black leggings and black sneakers and carrying a black Lululemon tote bag.

The second woman is also described as being about 25 years old, approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall with a heavy build and black hair worn in a bun. Police said she was wearing a purple sweater, purple sports bra, purple sweatpants and white sneakers and carrying a black Lululemon tote bag.
