17-year-old shot near 71st and 16th in Kenosha

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 17-year-old boy was shot in his upper left arm near 71st and 16th in Kenosha around 9:45 p.m., according to Kenosha police. 

Officials say the victim was was walking when he heard a gunshot and realized he was struck. The victim was transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle. He was later transported to Children's Hospital in Milwaukee for surgery and is in stable condition, according to police.
