MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department says an 18-year-old is dead after suffering from gunshot injuries on Fri. Sep. 26.

MPD says the shooting happened at around 1:40 p.m., near N. 38th Street and W. Keefe Avenue.

Crews transported the victim to the hospital for treatment, but he ultimately passed away due to his injuries. 

Milwaukee police continue to search for suspect(s) in the shooting.
