2 dead, suspect arrested in Milwaukee fatal shooting near Appleton and Ruby Avenue
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say two people are dead and one person is in custody following an early morning shooting Saturday, Oct. 18.
Milwaukee police say the shooting happened at around 7:32 a.m. near Appleton Ave. and Ruby Ave.
A 33-year-old victim died at the scene, while a second 43-year-old victim was taken to the hospital where they died.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Dwayne Carter.
Police say they arrested a 35-year-old suspect on scene.
Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
