22nd 'Men Who Cook' competition held by Wisconsin Black Chamber of Commerce
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Black Chamber of Commerce held the Taste of Black Milwaukee featuring the 22nd Annual Men Who Cook Competition on Saturday, June 15.
The event creator said several Black owned restaurants and caterers were highlighted. The funds raised during the event were raised for two organizations, Camp Xhongo Peace, and My Father's House.
Camp Xhongo takes 100 to 150 men and boys camping on the banks of the Mississippi, and My Father's House equips men with skills to be better father's, according to a release.
Families were able to come out and enjoy music, comedy, live performances and food.
The competition featured several winners in categories such as desserts and appetizers.
