Suspect charged in shooting that killed 25-year-old near 35th and Capitol
UPDATE, 7/7/25, 12:08 p.m. - 23-year-old Terrieyon Willoughby has been identified as the suspect in this fatal shooting. He has been charged with first degree reckless homicide and bail jumping.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim, identified as Eric Markham-Flinn, had suffered numerous gunshot wounds, and the vehicle he had been driving crashed into a wall.
Security video shows the suspect vehicle stop behind the victim's vehicle near 35th and Capitol, before changing lanes and pulling up alongside the victim
The video then shows gunfire erupting from the suspect's vehicle before driving away.
The victim then falls out of the vehicle before it coasts across the intersection before crashing into the concrete wall.
Milwaukee police officers arrested Willoughby at an apartment unit back on June 24th, after matching his car plates to a separate shooting back on April 30.
Detectives also recovered his phone that showed that he "had a text conversation with a person labeled “cousin” in which the Defendant stated that he killed an “opp” and sent a picture of a news story about the homicide of the victim Eric Markham-Flinn."
Terrieyon is due in court July 8th for a Preliminary Hearing.
MILWAUKEE, (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department says a 25-year-old is dead following a late-night shooting on Saturday, June 14.
Police say it happened at around 11:10 p.m., near 35th and Capitol Drive.
The victim died at the scene.
Officials say the investigation remains ongoing as police continue to search for a suspect.
