MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two brothers have been charged in connection with a fatal shooting that happened near 20th and Burleigh April 23.
Daniel Evans, 25, has been charged with first degree reckless homicide and bail jumping, and Joshua Evans, 22, has been charged with harboring or aiding a felon.
Milwaukee police say the shooting happened just before 9 p.m. The victim was identified as 32-year-old Terry Brown-Maben.
According to a criminal complaint, Brown-Maben was at a party when he left with another man to go to a liquor store.
While at the stop lights at 20th and Hopkins, officials say the vehicle Brown-Maben was riding in was rear ended.
The occupants of the striking vehicle reportedly drove away -- making the incident a hit and run.
After returning to the party, the criminal complaint says a vehicle believed to be the same one that rear ended Brown-Maben -- drove by and a passenger inside started shooting.
Brown-Maben was fatally shot.
Witness statements, as well as surveillance video pointed investigators to Daniel and Joshua Evans -- with Daniel being the one who pulled the trigger and Joshua behind the wheel.
Daniel Evans' bond was set at $100,000 and Joshua Evans' bond set at $15,000.
Both are due in court for a preliminary hearing May 11.
