3-night run of family fun starting Thursday at Wehr Nature Center's 'Halloween Haunts'

FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) --You can bond with nature and celebrate Halloween at the same time. For another year, Wehr Nature Center in Franklin is having its "Halloween Haunts."

The event combines the spooky fun of the holiday with the beauty of nighttime nature to create family fun. Starting on Thursday, Wehr's woodland is transformed into an enchanted forest complete with a cackling witch, talking owl, and some creepy critters all in character. The 400 pumpkins lighting the path only create more of an atmosphere.

Once again, the event runs Thursday through Saturday of this week from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each night. Advanced tickets are required.
