36-year-old man fatally shot in Racine, suspect turns self in

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police identified the victim Tuesday, June 24, as 36-year-old Brian Egerson.
They say the suspect, 27-year-old Terrence Gardner, turned himself in.
He's charged with first degree intentional homicide and two counts misdemeanor bail jumping.
Court records show cash bond has been set at $500,000.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 2.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 36-year-old man was fatally shot in Racine late Wednesday, June 18.
Racine police were called to Albert and Marquette streets around 10:19 p.m.
Officers located a gunshot wound to the chest. Lifesaving measures were performed but the man did not survive.
No suspect has been identified at this time.
An investigation is ongoing.
