Police recover body of 45-year-old from Milwaukee River

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say they recovered the body of a 45-year-old around 12:45 p.m. Monday, who went missing in the Milwaukee River Sunday night.
Officials said the person is believed to have jumped into the water around 10:44 p.m. Sunday near Water and Erie.
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A large emergency response took place near the Milwaukee River early Monday, July 21, after a report of a person in the water.
The Milwaukee Fire Department tells CBS 58 they responded around midnight near Water and Erie in the Third Ward. The U.S. Coast Guard and other agencies were also involved in the search.
As of Monday, at 6 a.m., fire officials said no person was found in the water. The situation has since been turned over to the Milwaukee Police Department for further investigation.
