FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) — Four people were arrested Thursday morning after authorities executed a search warrant at a Fond du Lac residence and allegedly found illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia and multiple replica firearms.

Around 9:30 a.m., members of the Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group Drug Unit, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office and the Fond du Lac Police Department executed the warrant at a residence in the 200 block of North Park Avenue.

According to police, one person became uncooperative while officers were trying to secure the residence and barricaded himself inside.

Authorities said officers used specialized tactics and resources to safely resolve the situation and secure the home without further incident.

During the search, investigators reportedly found LSD, methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and multiple facsimile firearms.

A 45-year-old man, a 46-year-old man, a 47-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were taken into custody and transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail.

Police said two of the four were first taken to a local hospital for medical treatment before being booked into jail.

No additional information is being released at this time as authorities await formal charging decisions through the Fond du Lac County Circuit Court.

"Our priority is always the safety and well-being of the residents of Fond du Lac," Lt. Nick Hahn said. "Illegal drug activity impacts individuals, families, neighborhoods, and our entire community. We will continue to work closely with our local and regional partners to address drug distribution and the criminal activity associated with it."

Hahn added that authorities remain committed to protecting neighborhoods and holding people accountable through the criminal justice process.

The Fond du Lac Police Department also thanked the Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group Drug Unit and the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office for their continued collaboration.
