4 days left to visit Basse's Apple and Sunflower Fest
COLGATE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Thursday through Sunday marks the last four days to take advantage of Basse's Apple and Sunflower Fest.
Fall might be on your mind already with the up and down temperatures. Orange is popping up in the pumpkin fields already and they're almost ready to be picked, but first it's time for the apples and sunflowers to shine.
"We are picking Macintosh, Cortland, Honey Crisp, Zest Star and Summer Sets -- a lot of varieties right now," said Roger Basse.
Indulge in a good time in the sunflower maze before you're turned to the next attraction, the popular corn maze. And if you get an aerial view of it, you might see something familiar.
"This year is Beetlejuice. We're really excited, should be a fun time," said Basse. "The first weekend we have a character coming in he's actually going to imitate Bettlejuice."
Admission for the Apple and Sunflower Fest include a 1/4 peck of u-pick apples, and you can add on a basket of "u-pick" flowers, too.
