41-year-old identified, found dead reportedly days after suffering 107 stab wounds in Milwaukee
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A search warrant issued involving the stabbing death of Janie Pendleton reveals new details about the incident.
Officials report that when they arrived on Wednesday, March 13, they located Pendleton having appeared to have been deceased for several days. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office reported that she sustained a total of 107 stab wounds, as well as a distinct shoe pattern on her right forearm.
The death has been ruled as a homicide, though no one mentioned within the warrant has yet been formally named as a suspect.
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a homicide that happened near N. 37th and Concordia Ave. Friday afternoon, March 13.
Police responded around 4:16 p.m. and found 41-year-old Janie Pendleton of Milwaukee dead from apparent stab wounds.
They say she was found dead in her home with "multiple sharp force injuries." She was reportedly first found by her family as they were performing a welfare check on her.
The incident is under investigation and police are looking for unknown suspect(s).
