42-year-old Oconomowoc man seriously injured after motorcycle crash in Dodge County

TOWN OF EMMET, DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office says a 42-year-old Oconomowoc man is seriously injured and had to be taken to the hospital via flight for life after crashing a motorcycle into a telephone pole. 

Officials say the incident happened just before midnight on Fri. Aug. 22, near County Road CW west of County Road EM in the town of Emmet. 

The investigation shows a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle was heading westbound on County Road CW, before leaving the roadway and striking the pole. 

The driver was ejected from the motorcycle and found by a person passing by. 

Emergency crews flew the patient to Aurora Medical Center Summit due to serious and life-threatening injuries. 

The name of the driver is being withheld as the crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
