FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Five people are facing felony voter fraud charges following an investigation in Fond du Lac.
Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney says the five illegally registered to vote in the 2020 election by using a P.O. Box with an address for a UPS store in Fond du Lac.
Toney says a citizen complaint triggered a police investigation which began last November.
"The city of Fond du Lac Police Department then attempted to interview all of the individuals that had registered with the P.O. Box store, which had resulted in what will be five cases filed for illegal registration," said Toney.
Toney says no arrest warrants will be issued in this case. He'll issue a summons to each of the five to appear in court.
The number of people charged with election fraud during the 2020 presidential election in Wisconsin is now at 10, including seven in Fond du Lac County.
