$50,000 winning Powerball ticket sold in Saukville
SAUKVILLE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Someone had good luck in Saukville over the weekend!
The Wisconsin Lottery announced a winning $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at Casey's General Store, located on 305 W. Dekora St. for the Jan. 20 drawing.
The winning ticket matched four of five numbers (16-31-34-47-65) and the Powerball (10).
"Powerball is our most popular lotto game," said Devan McCambridge, store manager. "Our players like it when the jackpots start to get really big. Hopefully, someone local won on this ticket. We love seeing winners in Wisconsin."
Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two percent Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.
The odds of winning a $50,000 Powerball prize are 1:913,130. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot, which for tonight's drawing is estimated at $133 million, are 1:292,201,338.
Powerball drawings are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m.
