One more really nice day to enjoy. It ends abruptly on Sunday with heavy rain expected, in waves, through Monday actually.  1 to 3 inches of rainfall can be expected as low pressure sits and spins east of Chicago during this time.  A Small Craft Advisory for high wind and waves along with dangerous rip currents will be in place Sunday into Monday as well.  Conditions will improve on Tuesday with nice weather expected the rest of the week.

It'll feel like a perfect summer day once again today with plenty of sunshine and temps topping out in the low to mid 80s!

Get out and enjoy the mild and dry weather because it won't be here all weekend. Most of the area will be dry during the day on Saturday, but clouds will start to increase during the afternoon. A few showers may move into Fond du Lac and Dodge counties by dinner time, but rain won't overspread the entire area until Saturday night.

Sunday is looking very soggy and breezy as the low pressure system strengthens as it sits and spins over southern Lake Michigan. Rain is likely throughout the day, so get any errands or yardwork done on Saturday.

This low pressure system won't move much heading into Monday, so plan on off and on showers as we start next week. These showers taper off by sunrise Tuesday morning. The rain could be steady and locally heavy at times Saturday night through Monday with 1-2" of rain likely across most of southeast Wisconsin.

A few spots NW of the city could see three inches of rain, but that will all depend on exactly where this low stalls out, which is a tad uncertain at the moment. The clouds and rain will make it hard to reach 70 degrees Sunday and Monday, but we'll warm right back up into the 70s to low 80s by the middle of next week as sunshine returns.
