WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Waukesha Police say a 63-year-old man is severely injured after being involved in a hit and run incident on Sat. Dec. 28th.

Police say it happened at around 6:15 p.m., near Hartwell and Whiterock Ave.

Upon arrival, officials located the victim and transported him to a trauma center where he is in critical condition. 

After developing a vehicle an interest, investigators were able to arrest a 57-year-old woman.

Officials believe that operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated was a contributing factor in this case.
