7-year-old receives dream bedroom makeover thanks to Special Spaces Wisconsin
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Lots of kids dream of having the perfect room, and for three of them, that dream came true Wednesday.
Seven-year-old Annali is going through treatment for leukemia. On Wednesday, she came home to a total room makeover, created by Special Spaces Wisconsin and volunteers from Northwestern Mutual.
The room was inspired by Annali's favorite, Lilo and Stitch.
We caught up with the family after the big surprise.
"Oh my goodness, I don't even know how to put it into words. They were able to give the kids something that I haven't been able to do for a while, just with everything going on, and seeing my babies happy is all that I could ask for."
Special Spaces was founded in 2004 and has chapters in nine states across the country.
The organization has helped more than 17,000 kids get their dream room makeovers.
