WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A charity fundraiser to help veterans in West Allis.
On Sat. Nov. 8th, Chief Meteorologist Drew Burgoyne served as emcee for the fundraiser at Ope Brewing Company.
It featured raffles, a silent auction, and food and drink.
Hours of fun to help the Wisconsin Veterans Network and the work they do.
"It could be just needing some money. It could be trying to get work," said Charity Beer Co-Director John Ash. "It could be almost literally any issue a vet may have that they could use extra help with. "
The West Allis Rotary Club was a driving force in the fundraiser, calling it a "Charity Beer Bash".
