According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office at about 7:40 PM, a deputy called dispatch regarding an officer-involved shooting at the lakefront.
Milwaukee Fire tells CBS 58 they have transported two people to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner tells CBS 58 it has not been called to either Bradford Beach or any hospital in the area in the past few hours indicating the shooting is not fatal.
The shooting happened near the intersection of Lincoln Memorial Drive and East Water Tower Road.
Photos from the scene also show a crash but is unclear how that played a part of the shooting. Witnesses tell CBS 58 Sheriff's Deputies were chasing a car when they fired shots into the vehicle hitting two people.
A shooting was also reported at Bradford Beach last weekend.
Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department is conducting the investigation. More information is expected to be released on Monday.
