One round of storms done. Waiting on more in the coming days...
Update as of 3:30 PM Sunday, August 9th...
Looking at the latest data, I think the rough stuff is behind us now. There is a chance for some more storm development later this evening into the overnight but mainly south. There's also the risk for more storms periodically the next few days. But widespread severe weather doesn't look like it's in the cards.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--We could see several rounds of storms today, some even strong to severe. Heavy rain, hail, damaging wind, and lightning are all possible. There's a slight risk of severe weather (CAT 2 of 5) for mainly the southern tier of the viewing area. Make sure you have several ways of getting alerts. The risk remains for storms through midweek and then it gets a bit drier. Chance of storms will return by next weekend. Highs this week in the 70s to low 80s. Lows in the 60s. It'll remain a bit humid this week as well but nothing off the charts. No major heat wave coming either.
The rain we get on Sunday won't compare to what we got a year ago. Thank goodness!
