Localized downpours were pretty common at the end of last week Thursday, Friday and Saturday but thankfully we stayed away from any severe weather. Friday saw some of the heaviest rain with flash flooding reported in Sheboygan County as rain totals quickly passed 3" in spots. A good number of communities got 1-2" of rain, but everyone at least saw a good soaking rain.
Even though August hasn't had that many days with rain, every day with rain has seen soakers. For the entire month we have picked up just under four inches of rain which is well above August 2023 and the average for the year.
Now we are heading into a fairly dry stretch of weather. We can't completely rule out a sprinkle or light shower Monday from the morning through the afternoon but the rest of the week looks dry.
