Alverno College to require COVID-19 vaccinations

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- According to a news release on Thursday, Aug. 26, Alverno College will require students, faculty and staff to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus by Nov. 1.

In a statement from Alverno College Communication Specialist Kelly Cole, "This decision was carefully and thoughtfully considered, based on the recommendations and evidence of local, statewide and national health experts, as well as in consultation with peer institutions and the college’s leadership."

No additional details on the decision have been provided by Alverno College.
