Anonymous tipsters help solve 2 cases through Milwaukee Crime Stoppers
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Just this past week, your tips solved two crimes, and the tipsters who came forward got hundreds of dollars in rewards.
The first tip led to the arrest of a man wanted by police.
The other solved a non-fatal shooting that left a 19-year-old with severe injuries.
Milwaukee Crime Stoppers is rewarding both of these anonymous tipsters hundreds of dollars each, which combined adds up to more than $1,000.
They just have to call back, provide the code number they got when they called to report the tip, and then pick up their cash reward at a secret location.
We've had hundreds of solid tips come through in the last few months that Milwaukee Police Department detectives are investigating as we speak, and many of them are very close to solving those crimes.
If you want to know more about Milwaukee Crime Stoppers, come to the crime and safety meeting for District 2 next Wednesday, May 15, at 6 p.m. It will be at 906 W. Historic Mitchell Street.
And as always, if you know something about a crime in Milwaukee and want to report it without anyone ever knowing, Milwaukee Crime Stoppers is the only way to do that.
