Another 70 degree day. Milwaukee is approaching a record!

Milwaukee has recorded another 70 degree temperature today.  That's significant because 2024 is now tied for the second most 70+ days on record.  Normal highs this time of the year should be in the upper 50s.  2021 has the most days at 150, so we will see if some late October warmth will get us closer to the record.

This is the 9th 70+ degree day this month; the normal is 6 days.  October of 2024 won't be close to the record of 17 days in 1963.  The pattern is shifting tonight with a front.

Wednesday will be breezy and much cooler with most highs struggling to get into the upper 50s to around 60.
