Another mainly dry week with temps mostly above normal

CBS 58

It's been another really nice late September day today with tons of sunshine, a stiff breeze, and temps in the 70s.

The wind will be lighter on Monday and turn to the southeast, which will help temps warm into the mid to upper 70s under mostly sunny skies.

The breezy winds won't be gone for long, though. A cold front moves through during the predawn hours Tuesday morning. Behind the front, winds will gust between 25-30 mph. While winds turn calm Tuesday night, 20 mph gusts will return on Wednesday.

Temps will briefly fall closer to normal behind the front on Tuesday with highs in the mid to upper 60s, but 70s return for the rest of the week.

it'll be another mainly dry week as well. The cold front that moves through early Tuesday morning won't produce more than a stray sprinkle. There is a chance for some light rain late Thursday night into early Friday morning, but it will all depend on where the warm front is located.
