It has been a wet start to August after a wet end to July. Milwaukee picked up almost 2" of rain on the first day on August on Saturday and another round of heavy rain looks possible Tuesday night. Some showers or storms are possible as early as the mid-afternoon hours of Tuesday with better chances for rain Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning.
Some lingering showers and storms may be possible throughout the day on Wednesday. There will likely be some dry time here and there. Rain totals look to bring in another soaking rain with 0.50-1.50" at least possible with most of that falling Tuesday night. Some weather models show the possibility of even 2" or 3".
After the rain Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday a few isolated showers or storms might be possible for Thursday before mostly dry weather returns heading into the weekend.
