MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man has been charged in connection with the death of his girlfriend's 3-year-old son.

An arrest warrant has been issued to track down 34-year-old Marcus Glenn Jenkins, who now faces one count of first degree reckless homicide and one count of neglecting a child, causing death. 

In November of 2025, police were called to a home near 29th and Concordia and located 3-year-old Da'Quarius Berry unresponsive; he was pronounced dead after being rushed to a hospital. 

His cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma. 

The child's mother, Zaquitta Joiner-Murphy, has also been charged in the case; she's facing one count of child neglect resulting in death.
