MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee teenager is facing criminal charges in connection to a shooting that left two teens dead, and another injured on June 15.

Seventeen-year-old Moses Martinez faces two counts first degree intentional homicide, use of a dangerous weapon and one count of first degree recklessly endangering safety.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. near 9th and Manitoba.

Police say a 15-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and a 16-year-old victim died at an area hospital. A 14-year-old sustained a non-fatal gunshot injury.

According to a criminal complaint, investigators spoke with the surviving shooting victim who said that prior to the incident, she was at a birthday party for one of the other victims.

She reportedly stated that the party was getting crowded, so a group of about 12 teenagers, including herself and the two victims killed, went for a walk around the neighborhood. While walking, they were approached by two teens on a scooter. She said it seemed like the teens on the scooters may have known the victims based on their interaction. According to the complaint, she heard one of the victims yell, "why are you pulling out a gun?" before she was hit by a bullet. She went on to tell officers the teen with the gun was shooting toward the entire group, and struck two other teens she was with.

Prosecutors say video recordings were recovered from cameras at various locations, that included recordings of two people riding a scooter and a person appearing to fire a gun in the area where numerous casings were recovered.

Court records show a warrant has been issued for Martinez' arrest.
