WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It's like clockwork. Every three months, there's a new art installation on the walls of the new wing of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Eastern Wisconsin in Wauwatosa. This new wing provides a home-away-from-home backdrop for families whose child requires a minimum of 60 days of hospital care. The House enlisted the help of the Southeast chapter of Wisconsin Visual Artists to get the job done initially. The non-profit took on the challenge, and the end result is a display of pastels, oil, acrylics, mixed media, photography, monoprints, and collage. The pieces are meant to be light and whimsical. No dark themes.
On September 14th, the First Anniversary show at RMHC will be unveiled, featuring brand new artists and artwork. If you happen to be an artist who wants to submit work for future installations click here.
