Attorney representing mother of missing Two Rivers boy withdraws from case
MANITOWOC COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The lawyer representing Katrina Baur, mother of missing Two Rivers boy Elijah Vue, is now off the case.
"I determined there was a conflict. I did contact attorney Amber Gratz to see if she would be able to assume my presentation. She said yes , she should be able to represent Miss Baur in my place."
That's what Baur's lawyer told a Manitowoc County judge Monday morning at a scheduling conference.
Three-year-old Elijah Vue disappeared back in February.
Baur and her boyfriend, Jessie Vang, are both charged with child neglect, but not with Vue's disappearance.
Baur is scheduled to have a bond hearing Wednesday. The court expects that to still take place, unless the new attorney is unable to be there or needs more time to prepare.
