Aurora Children's encouraging parents to immunize children for measles

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Aurora Children’s Health has reached out to parents whose children are not immunized for the measles. Hundreds of letters are being dropped to pediatric patients across Wisconsin encouraging parents to call their pediatrician immediately and get their children immunized after seven measles cases were confirmed in Illinois.

According to Aurora, it had appeared that measles had been eliminated for the past 20 years. but now the childhood disease is back. The number of cases in the United States in the first three months of 2019 has already surpassed the number of cases in all of 2018.
