Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus Richard Sklba passes away peacefully

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Archdiocese of Milwaukee announced the passing of Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus of Milwaukee Richard J. Sklba,  on Thursday, Nov. 21. 

The Archdiocese of Milwaukee said Bishop Sklba "died peacefully in his sleep last night."

Bishop Sklba was ordained to the priesthood in Rome for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee in 1959. He continued to serve the Archdiocese of Milwaukee since his retirement in 2010.
