'Awesome': Packers QB Jordan Love reflects on being a first-time dad
CBS 58 GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Following a team practice on Tuesday, June 2, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love talked about what life is like as a new dad.
"Trying to get as much sleep as I can but, you know, some nights I gotta try and help out as much as I can. But she's doing a great job," Love said.
Love and his wife, Ronika Stone, announced the birth of their baby girl, Rayna Capri, on Instagram last week.
CBS 58's Lance Allan asked Love what is the most life-changing thing since becoming a father, where Love reflected on conversations he's had with some of his teammates.
"I think man just coming home every day and knowing that I have a daughter now. I know everybody has always said that some of the guys in the locker room are always like, 'Once you have a kid it's just different.' All the stress and things you worry about kind of - it's a new, new worries and new stress about worrying just a kid at home that you get to come home and spend that quality time with. It's definitely awesome and gives you that new perspective of, you know, raising a child and all the cool things that come with it."
Love went on to say he and Stone have been spending a lot of time at home.
"It's changed a lot. We've been in the house a good majority of the time," he said with a laugh.
