Bars and Recreation takes aim at fun with new Slingshot Bar
CBS 58 WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Bars and Recreation is known for its experience bars around Milwaukee, from the New Fashioned in Deer District to axe throwing and glow in the dark mini golf. The latest concept is something you won't find anywhere else.
"This is the first of its kind in the United States, and I think the first in the world. It seems like a simplistic concept but it's definitely fun and very unique," said Steve Davis, the director of sales and events at Slingshot Bar.
Slingshot Bar has one large range where you can take aim at targets big and small. Some targets are even moving.
Dylan Curry is the tech manager for the bar. He showed us how he aims and hits one of the cymbals with a pellet.
"One of my favorite things about that target is, since it is actually rotating, it makes it a little bit harder to hit and more of a challenge to you as a shooter."
You have to be 48" to participate. Each slingshot session is 75 minutes and includes a cup of ammo.
Slingshot Bar is also available to rent out as an event space for holiday or corporate parties.
