Batter & Mac opens new Menomonee Falls location to offer cooking and baking classes

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Batter & Mac, a Menomonee Falls bakery, is expanding and moving to a new, much larger location. The new bakery is just a block away from the original Batter & Mac, but it offers more space for classes and a bigger menu. 

The old location offered just 300 ft² of space. Now, with a 2,400 ft² kitchen and dining area, the owners, Kasey Gusho and Brittany Wohlfeil, will offer classes in the kitchen.

"From macaron making, cake decorating, meal prep, we have Gregory León of Amilinda to do a food and wine of Spain class, knife skills, kid's classes for all ages," said Wohlfeil. "We're trying to offer a wide variety so that everybody can come enjoy a class." 

The "Mac" stands for macaron, Gusho's specialty. 

They also offer cookies, muffins, donuts and hot ham and bread sandwiches on Sundays. 

This year's macaron making classes filled up quickly, so more were added in Jan. 2024. You can book a class HERE.
