Bay View's Lazy Susan restaurant to close its doors in April

BAY VIEW, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A popular Bay View restaurant is closing its doors permanently after nine years.

In a social media post Sunday, Lazy Susan announced the restaurant will hold its final dinner service in April.

The restaurant cited the "lasting effects of the pandemic combined with economic viability."

In the announcement, Lazy Susan's owner wrote in part, "I am not disappointed in what I accomplished the last nine years. I have made many new friends, helped the community, have great staff, made lists for best restaurants and enjoyed seeing weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and showers here."

Lazy Susan will continue to offer service until April 8.
