Black History Month takes center stage at Milwaukee Marshall High School with 'We Are the Drum - MKE'
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Black History Month provides the backdrop to the reverberating performance "We Are The Drum - MKE."
This week, there are plenty of opportunities to see this show in Milwaukee.
Local actors of all ages will take the stage to give their interpretation of what this special occasion means to them with this annual production. Event organizers say the intent is all about promoting multicultural awareness and racial harmony.
This year's theme is "Raising the Bar…Believe, Achieve and Receive."
Eight showings in all will be performed, with four being held for local schools and the rest for the general public. Shows begin Tuesday at Milwaukee Marshall High School.
