FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) – The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office released new sketches of a cold case victim.
The woman was found in a shallow creek in Ashford almost 10 years ago.
Investigators say advances in technology could help them solve her murder.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited children came up with additional composite sketches after being presented with the case.
Investigators are planning to exhume Jane Doe’s body later this week for additional forensic testing.
“We’re hoping to get some historical data of either where she grew up or may have traveled to and resided throughout the United States because we’re not sure if she’s from Wisconsin if she moved here recently if she was only here a short time,” said Det. Ryan Murphy with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman is believed to be Caucasian, about 5’1” and 120 lbs. between the ages of 15 and 21.
