MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- In a unique celebration of local talent, Milwaukee's Brady Street Business Improvement District (BID #11) and Grove Gallery have teamed up to host the Brady Street Art Walk.
Waterhouse joined us on Wednesday, June 14 to offer a preview.
The event, curated by Waterhouse, offers attendees a chance to observe a broad spectrum of Milwaukee’s finest artists in a dynamic outdoor setting.
Scheduled for Saturday, June 17, the Art Walk's hours will be between noon and 4 p.m. Artists, stationed along Brady Street's sidewalks, will create and sell their art amidst a relaxed atmosphere, and are encouraged to grab a meal or a drink too.
An activity for children will take place on N. Arlington Place, nestled between Hi Hat and La Masa. Encouraging collaboration and creativity, the young participants will be offered paint-filled water balloons to throw at a wall, leading to the creation of a colorful, shared art piece.
