A boost in temperatures despite the lack of sunshine
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) - From the moment the Brewers clinched, fans started streaming into the Team Store in Miller Park to get their hands on Brewers gear.
The store is staying open for 24 hours for a Postseason Madness sale.
Standing shoulder to shoulder, Brewers fans are buying into the excitement.
“These are our people,” said Jim Polejonik as he walked out of the store with three new shirts.
From the final out, t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats started flying off the shelves.
“I got this flag of the Brewers,” said Nikita Kotsonis who is celebrating his 10th birthday with an armload of Brewers gear.
“I’ve never seen it so crowded in my life,” said another fan who was at the store with his mother.
“As soon as I got done with work I grabbed my son here and we hopped in the car and came down,” she said.
“I’m super excited,” said 9-year-old Liamini Segura, who is as big a Brewers fan as you can find.
“From a scale of one to 100, I’m 100,” said Segura.
All of these excited fans hope Monday’s big win was only the beginning.
The store will remain open until 8 p.m. Tuesday night.
