Briefly warmer for the start of Mother's Day weekend

NOW: Briefly warmer for the start of Mother’s Day weekend
NEXT:

Friday morning was another frosty start to the day with lows dropping into the lower 30s. It caps off a week with a few frost advisories. It is not unusual for us to see frost during the month of May. The average for the last frost in Milwaukee and lakeside areas lasts for another week and inland counties typically don't see their last frost until the second or even third week of May.

We will take a break from any frost concerns Friday night into Saturday morning when lows stay in the 40s to around 50. However more frost might be possible, especially away from the Lake, a few mornings next week.

High temperatures will finally warm into the 60s after being fairly cool most of the week in the 50s. 60s for highs last until Saturday then we drop again into the 50s most of next week. Another sign of warmth may return heading into the following weekend.

When it comes to rain chances, both Friday and Sunday have trended fairly dry with only a ten or 15% chance for rain. Saturday will be our best chance for a few isolated showers, but even then not everyone sees them with some staying completely dry.
