Zurn Elkay matches Hunger Task Force turkey donations bird for bird

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A $15 donation to Hunger Task Force puts a turkey on the table for a household in need, and Zurn Elkay Water Solutions matches each one through the Zurn Elkay Turkey Ticker Challenge, according to the organizations.

Mardi Smirl, community relations manager at Hunger Task Force, and Jennifer Clearwater, community and public affairs manager at Zurn Elkay Water Solutions, joined us Tuesday, Oct. 27 to discuss the challenge.

They offered more details about what the community's need for food support looks like and why Zurn Elkay sponsors the initiative.

The turkeys go to families, older adults and children for Thanksgiving.
