Brown Deer Police arrest driver of stolen Milwaukee car who had outstanding Mequon warrants with marijuana in the car

BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Brown Deer Police made a traffic stop around 7:20 p.m. Wednesday near 60th and Dean for car listed as stolen.

The 19-year-old driver of the car was arrested for receiving stolen property. The car was listed as stolen by Milwaukee Police and the driver was from Milwaukee.

Brown Deer Police also discovered the man had multiple warrants from Mequon Police.

During a search of the car, police discovered a bag of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the center console.

The man was arrested and turned over to Mequon Police. Charges for the possession of THC will be reviewed by the DA.
