Bucks, Betty Brinn Children's Museum help kids get ready to head back to school

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It was a busy day in Milwaukee getting kids ready for back-to-school time.

At 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 17, the Milwaukee Bucks and Fiserv Forum held a back-to-school drive at the Mary Ryan Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee.

They had more than 300 backpacks full of school supplies to hand out to Milwaukee kids who are heading back to school.

Of course, everybody's favorite -- Bango -- was there to help hand out the supplies.

At the Betty Brinn Children's Museum, they had more than 1,500 backpacks full of supplies to hand out, and Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson helped with the event.

There were dozens of organizations there with resource booths to help your kids get ready for the schoolyear.
