Bucks, Fiserv Forum provide $10K grants to group of minority-owned small businesses in Milwaukee

MLWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Bucks are showing their concern about what's happening to small businesses in the time of COVID.

Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer, along with representatives from Fiserv, announced they're providing grants to those businesses to help them recover from the effects of the pandemic.

Representatives of the businesses were on hand for the announcement Monday, March 1.

"The Bucks, Fiserv, they have a surprise for you guys today," said Budenholzer. "Instead of a $1,000 grant for you, we're gonna give you guys a $10,000 grant today."

After the announcement, the grants were handed out in a short ceremony. 

Business leaders were also presented with gifts, including a Bucks jersey.
