MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Take your pick of all of the events to visit this weekend in Milwaukee because there is no shortage of fun. Harley Homecoming, the Air and Water show, Brewfest, and Germanfest are sharing one weekend this year.

“We’re sick of being Chicago’s little brother,” said John Barry, a Brewfest attendee. “It’s kinda cool to have everything at once because you pay for a Brewfest ticket but you get the airshow in the background.”

“Just the whole atmosphere and all the music live music. You gotta love it,” said Morgan Nevius, a Harley Homecoming attendee.

A busy weekend meant fewer parking spots.

“The airshow event is here and because all of the other events had reserved parking closer to here, all of the airshow people had to go way down for their parking and so that wasn’t cool at all,” said Adrianna Ortega, an Air and Water Show attendee.

For some, the beer and brats made up for the lack of parking.

“If you gotta walk a few extra steps it’s well worth it,” said Tony Wedl, a Germanfest attendee.

Those from out of town say this was the most bang for your buck.

“Probably because I’m not local, I guess it was kind of neat to see the airshow going on at the same time as we were walking up because we had no idea that was going on,” said Nevius.

Others say this is an example of Milwaukee having something for everyone.

“As I was walking I kind of talked to people from the different events and it was nice talking to them,” said Ortega.

Most say, while this weekend was filled to the brim with fun, they could use some space next year.

"I think you could probably spread it out. Might be a better idea but you gotta roll punches and we’re having fun today,” said Wedl.
