Café Benelux in Milwaukee's Third Ward to undergo major renovations, will close during March

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Café Benelux in Milwaukee's Third Ward will soon undergo major renovations at their landmark location. 

Beginning Monday, Feb. 26 the restaurant known for its Belgian bier, award-winning Bloody Mary's, rooftop and more will begin construction on a reimagined bar with 50% more seating, additional booths, VIP booth, bigger and better TV screens, and a new and improved host stand area. 

According to a news release from the Lowlands Group, the majority of the existing menu will remain the same, with several new additions on the way.

The renovations are slated to last through the month of March, with a proposed reopen date of early April.
